12.2
solubility of materials
Solubility:
the greatest amount of material that can dissolve in a certain amount of liquid
at a particular temperature.
The solubility of most materials in a liquid increases
as the temperature of the liquid
increases.
12.3 rate
of solubility
Rate of
solubility: the time taken by material to dissolve in a certain
amount of liquid.
The rate of solubility is influence by size of solid being dissolved, temperature, stirring.
